About The Author

I earned my PhD in 2015 for research entitled "British Jihadism: The Detail and the Denial", from the University of East Anglia and obtained an MSc in Terrorism Studies in 2007 from the University of East London. 

My research areas centre on the involvement of a small but not insignificant number of British Muslims in Jihadist violence over the past three decades. I also research and write about the political fringe, Islamism, the EU and conspiracy theories. I tend to think we have two ruling groups in this country (Eton v Islington) and the really interesting thing is who those two groups make alliances with in order to exercise power...... 

That is probably enough to be getting on with.................
