Paul, I agree it is of interest to the MB to criticise BICOM: but others too share that view. More generally, there is a vast nexus intertwining the British state and academia in this area in the context of which MB funding is a pittance. One only has to look at the charmed rise of the less than impressive Matthew Goodwin for example to see how the security state favours their own. It is rather unfair in a way to single out Spinwatch when the integrity of British academics is unquestionable: as I know from bitter experience most have none, they are merely hacks and pedants for hire. This is the curse of research 'relevance', bespoke twaddle for those who can pay...
