hopefully the city will be a distant dream/nightmare in 20 years ... i hope!


Just as Hume and Moss Side had millions spent on them, last decade or two. This was not done to improve it for the mixed working class communities who were there. Instead they were shipped out to the outskirts of Manchester and this area close to the City Centre over to the posher students and 'creatives'.


The only other way to look at it is to think of it as an opportunity. All these people coming in have lots of money and if you can find a way to deliver a service that they will spend it on, you will also be able to afford one of those flats! It's frustrating to see all these people with vast amounts of money, but at the end of the day they are human too, and hopefully we can all be friends and be the richer for it.
