Coming Soon: Four Lions

Thanks to the Sugarbeet Bhoy for drawing my attention to Chris Morris comedy, Four Lions, which had its premiere at the weekend.

The trailer below suggests it is influenced more than slightly by the failed 21/7 bombings.....

 

ITV On 21/7 Bombers

Tune in to ITV 1 on Tuesday 1st December for an ITV examination of the failed 21/7 bombings in London in 2005.

As all four of these explosions failed to detonate, and in each instance the would-be bombers were subsequently arrested alive, the issue of these attacks has always presented a considerable challenge for 'truth' activists.  

Early press releases suggest this programme will focus on the views of police and witnesses to the attacks. It is also likely to be rather ignored by those in the 'truth' community.....

Patsies?

Alex Jones is one of the names in the 9/11 Truth Movement.

Jones refers to the alleged 21/7 bombers as patsies.

We wonder if he has been following the evidence at their trial closely, and indeed what appeared to be an acceptance yesterday that bombs were indeed constructed, but only designed to go "pop".

Is that the work of patsies? If not, what are the odds of a retraction from Jones?

A Criminal Record?

It was amusing to see that amongst today's evidence presented against the 21/7 bombers is the "possession" of copies of the video "Dirty Kuffah" by Sheikh Terra.

This example of "Jihad Hip-Hop" is hardly fresh - you can find copies on You Tube, and Sky News ran an "expose" of it over a year ago. Indeed Sky showed most of the video if I recall, and the BNP made it downloadable in full from their website in one of their rants against British Muslims. As such it has probably been seen by hundreds of thousands of people by now.

I can't say playing it on You Tube five minutes ago has made anyone at Cultwatch HQ want to go out and murder our fellow civilians on the London transport system either......

21/7 Trial - Never Say Never

It is interesting to note that Nigel Sweeney QC is the Prosecuting Counsel in this case.

Those with reasonable memories may recall Sweeney was the prosecuting Counsel in the case of the fascist nailbomber David Copeland. Discussing that trial, Sweeney made the following comments at the 2001 British Academy of Forensic Sciences Friends dinner, at the Law Society on 22 February 2001:

"This was my 39th and last terrorist case".

Clearly Mr Sweeney had forgotten the old principle of "Never Say Never"..........

Transcripts From The 21/7 Bombing Trial

Sky News have posted some transcripts from the 21/7 bomb trial on their website.

Although they did promise these would be continuous, the most recent I can find are from Tuesday. Even so they make interesting reading. You can view them here.

So far we have heard very little from the "Truth Movement" about this trial, or indeed the defendants - could it be because the men's testimony, plus the prosecution and defence cases, will not easily lend themselves to the sort of drivel we are used to hearing about the 7/7 bomb attacks in London?

Time will tell.
