Something That Should Be Commemorated

This month has naturally seen a series of '9/11 nine years on' pieces in the media, coupled with the now obligatory demonstrations and rallies by 'truth' activists.

Nearly all of these were distinctly missable, however Rebecca Solnit's excellent piece was distributed around various websites, blogs and email lists. I make no aplogies for encouraging you all to read what is a moving tribute to people's inate tendency to help one another and work together, even in the most difficult and shocking of circumstances.

102 Minutes

Tonight sees a Channel 4 documentary, "9/11, 102 Minutes That Changed America," at 9pm.

Weighing in at over 2 hours, this may be a very significant programme if, and I stress if, it sources the excellent "102 Minutes - The Untold Story of the Fight To Survive Inside The Twin Towers", by Jim Dwyer and Kevin Flynn.

We shall see.

Delores Kane To Attend Passing Clouds 9/11 Event?

With the eighth anniversary of 9/11 fast approaching, the truth movement is trying to get its chess pieces in place for a series of commemorative events.

One of these will be at Passing Clouds, a hippy/wealthy incomer hangout in Dalston, east London.

No doubt inspired by the popularity of the recent Obama as Joker poster designs with Truth activists, a '9/11 Dress Up Cover Up Party' is planned, with people invited to come as their 'favourite joker from the Bush administration', whilst 9/11 'truth' film maker Dean Puckett will discuss his film 'Elephant In The Room'.

But what's this? Rumour reaches 9/11 Cultwatch that all this dressing up and frolics is very much to the fancy of former 9/11 truth spokesman David Shayler. Given Shayler and Annie Machon's long held views that 9/11 was carried out by Islamist terrorists Shayler could of course come as himself on 11th September, but it seems he views this as an ideal opportunity to give the lovely Delores Kane another outing.

Here at 9/11 Cultwatch we could not possibly be so cruel as to say that an appearence from Delores really would mean there was an elephant in the room, but we look forward to a night at Passing Clouds that no one would want to pass up. Forward the revolution!
