One of the things the Britain and Ireland 9/11 Truth Movement likes to do is to present itself as a growing mass movement, with supporters and activists in most towns and cities.
Oxford is one city where, if you believed the hype, the 9/11 Truth "message" is getting out loud and clear. The e mail below, which we recently received, rather suggests otherwise:
9/11 Oxford is a bad joke. It's only the one guy who does the regular stalls and I feel a bit sorry for him. On the June 2nd stall in the city centre I turned up and argued with him for a while then shortly after I'd started a guy came up to the stall who used to work in the World Trade Center and just tore him to pieces. I think we left him a bit demoralised...
As far as I know there's only one other 'truth' activist in the city who I met at the protest against Gordon Brown last Sunday. He's a lad about my age who basically turns up to every event with the same '9/11 = inside job' placard so I argued with him ages and eventually got him to buy a copy of Notes from the Borderland with a few articles about Shayler, Marchon and the 9/11 truth cult in.
So to cut a long story short, the 9/11 nutters aren't up to much in Oxford.
