Excellent photos ranging from the fun, ie evolution, the pier clock, the laughing buddha to the more serious, ie Thomas Paine statue. The two Protestant Martyrs memorials, The Lollards Pit (which I have visited) and Robert Kett. Just wondering if you have an interest in Protestant reformation struggles of the Tudor Period in England. Any significance in highlightlighting the Protestant memorials since my reading of this blog is that you take an atheist stance. Somewhere I remember seeing or hearing that your father came to England from Northern Ireland and was described as a working class loyalist - which version of protestant belief he identified with was not mentioned. Given the history of conflict in the North of Ireland its understandable you don't want any dealings with any religion.
