Sir Ian Blair Throws A Bone To His Critics

When I went to bed last night, the main story in London was the vote of no confidence in the head of the Metropolitan Police, Sir Ian Blair.

I wake up this morning, and the main news is that 'new evidence' has miraculously been found in the Stephen Lawrence case, and fresh arrests may follow.

Is there anyone in London who cannot see a connection between the first story and the second?
