Sinn Fein may have voted to "accept" the Police Service of Northern Ireland, but I suspect it will be some time before working class people in Republican areas wish to have anything to do with the remixed RUC.

You have to admire the flair of the PSNI however, in ensuring it meets its quotas on Catholic recruitment. No hanging around the Falls Road with application packs here - they have gone to Poland, and according to the Police Review of 19 January, received over 1000 applications.

Nearly all of which, we can safely assume, will be from Catholics, neatly ticking the diversity box.
