Spookwatch

It was intreresting to see former MI6 bigwig Dame Pauline Neville-Jones interviewed on Sky News this morning.

She was introduced as a former diplomat, rather under-selling her standing. Neville-Jones debated the issue of nuclear proliferation with the Chairman of CND, and argued in favour of replacing Trident. Tony Blair and Brown would be very pleased with her!

The good Dame was forced to resign from the BBC Board of Governors, during the row between the BBC and the government over Iraq, due to her links to US defence companies that were profiting from the American invasion. For more on this part of her career, go here<
