The Guardian On Nicky Cruz

A somewhat limp analysis of the Nicky Cruz affair has been published in todays Guardian.

The authors fail to ask any searching questions of either the Metropolitan Police or Hackney Council. Indeed they fail to address what may become the issue in coming years, how the political establishment rectifies the contradictions in establishment multi-culturalism.
How do you have a society that is satisfactory to (for example) gay people, and at the same time satisfies the beliefs (for example) of evangelical christians?

I suspect that this case, and the recent dispute between the Gay Police Association and the Christian Police Association, is the start of a gathering storm.
