Tune in to BBC Radio 4 at 2300 this evening for Dave Against The Machine.
This is billed as a comedy about a fictional conspiracy theorist, Dave Railings. It ceertainly seems to have put the Telegraph's radio guide on the defensive. This evenings programme focuses on Dave's concern about a dirty bomb, prompting the Telegraph to warn "If a real bomb (threat or actual) should manifest itself the BBC will pull this quicker than you can say 'bang'."
Other 'conspiracy' based comic characters have been tried before, without prospering. Lets see how this four part series develops before speculating if Dave Railings will be a permanent fixture in conspiracy culture.
